Anders Lundegård was born and bred in Växjö, Sweden. This mid-sized town, surrounded by deep pine forests in the middle south of Sweden, is otherwise mostly noted for producing world-class tennis champions, such as Jonas Björkman and Mats Wilander. Educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and at Northwestern University as a Fulbright Scholar, Anders maintains his career as a saxophonist alongside with being a Financial Advisor.

Anders earned his MBA along with designations such as Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), and Chartered Financial Consultant ℠ (ChFC®). By focusing on efficient tax strategies and disciplined investment planning, he strives to help his clients reach financial independence and a well-balanced lifestyle. He has been a financial advisor for over 21. During his career, Anders has had the opportunity to serve clients of all ages and has been challenged with a wide range of financial planning scenarios, including estate planning, small business planning, and divorce consultation. Anders believes that a well-thought-out investment strategy begins with an in-depth dialogue about the client’s past, present, and future concerns and goals.

In his leisure moments, Anders is an avid sailor and the proud owner of a 23-ft sailboat named after his two grandmothers Greta (port side) and Gudrun (starboard side).

Anders, along with guitarist and singer Al Baumann, is the co-founder of “The Swedish Jazz Duo.” His own semi-annual concert series at the Lyceum, a concert venue in Old Town Alexandria, alternates between chamber music and jazz performances, often featuring his compositions in both genres.
